During the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces, CJ Vina Agri factories in the South quickly activated the "3 on-site" plan in compliance with the policy of the provincial and city governments. For 20 years of establishment and development, it has been the first time that all employees of CJ Vina Agri have to perform both production activities and prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic at the same time.

Responding to the call of the Government, joining hands with individuals, organizations, and the community to quickly bring vaccines to the people of Vietnam on the morning of 25 June 2021, in Hanoi, CJ Vietnam Group donated VND 6.49 billion to the Covid-19 Vaccine Fund – VND 4 billion of which was contributed by CJ Vina Agri Company.

In order to support and accompany the local authorities and people of Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province to fight against the pandemic, CJ Vina Agri – the Northern Branch has directly donated essential necessities worth VND 72.5 million for each commune impacted the most seriously by the pandemic like Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province), An Binh commune (Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province) and Thai Nguyen province.

Responding to the spirit of accompanying the local people to fight against the pandemic, CJ Vina Agri's Livestock Business donated 6 clean live pigs for the Union Executive Committee of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dong Nai province. Accordingly, the clean pork was received and distributed by the Department to hospital kitchens and isolated wards in the province.

CJ Vina Agri hoped that this sharing would help local residents overcome difficulties and contribute to the fight against the pandemic.
