In order to support and accompany the local authorities and people of Bac Ninh province and Bac Giang province to fight against the pandemic, CJ Vina Agri – the Northern Branch has directly donated essential necessities worth VND 72.5 million for each commune impacted the most seriously by the pandemic like Viet Yen district (Bac Giang province), An Binh commune (Thuan Thanh district, Bac Ninh province) and Thai Nguyen province.
Bac Giang province and Bac Ninh province are the two areas facing the most severe difficulties in the 4th outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam. Currently, the two provinces have a record number of infected cases, most of which were recorded in industrial parks and workers' accommodation in residential areas. In the spirit of joining hands to prevent the pandemic all over the country, at the beginning of June, the Northern branch of CJ Vina Agri donated necessities worth up to VND 145 million to frontline forces of disease prevention and control in these “hot” areas in Bac Giang province, Bac Ninh province, and Thai Nguyen province. The employees of CJ Vina Agri in the North were mobilized and organized to transport donated food to the Fatherland Front Committee of each area.

In Thai Nguyen province, CJ Vina Agri team in the North also cooperated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Hai Thinh Nutrition Joint Stock Company (Bac Ninh province) to organize the donation of necessities to support the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in Song Cong city and Dong Hy district (in Thai Nguyen province). The total value of the donation is up to VND 100 million.

In which, the Northern team of CJ Vina Agri contributed necessities worth up to VND 72.5 million. During the trip, members of the delegation sent best regards and encouraged the forces working on the prevention and control of the pandemic at the Medical Centers of Song Cong city and Dong Hy district, and a concentrated isolation area located at Viet Duc Industrial College (Song Cong city).
These activities reflected an active step in CJ Vina Agri's pandemic prevention program which was aimed to share difficulties with the people affected by the pandemic, promptly encourage the frontline forces to make efforts to overcome difficulties, and contribute to the effective implementation of the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam.
