CJ VINA AGRI WAS HONOURED TO BE IN THE TOP 500 MOST PROFITABLE ENTERPRISES IN VIETNAM IN 2021

On April 27, 2021 at Sheraton Hotel - Hanoi, CJ Vina Agri was honored to receive the title of "Top 500 fastest growing enterprises in Vietnam" awarded by Vietnam Report in cooperation with VietNamNet News – under Ministry of Information and Communications.

Mr. Choi Byoung Yang (General Director of the Northern Branch of CJ Vina Agri) received the certificate of Top 500 Most Profitable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2021 from the representative of the Organizing Board.

Accordingly, CJ Vina Agri’s above ranking of 31/500 is brought by its profit, revenue, profitability, capital adequacy ratio, etc. This is the first year that CJ Vina Agri is honored to enter this top list and achieves such a high ranking; which reflects a valuable recognition for its business efficiency and capacity, as well as its efforts to actively contribute to Vietnam’s economy, especially during the outbreak of the Covid -19 pandemic in the period of 2020-2021.

To be specific, according to the financial statement of the company for 2020; thanks to its strict overhead management, comprehensive product portfolio, and effective investment activities; its total revenue reached nearly VND 16,000 billion and its profit before tax reached VND 5,000 billion.

According to Mr. Nam Ki Don, the General Director of CJ Vina Agri, it is the first time that the company has entered the list of "Top 500 most profitable enterprises in Vietnam" and achieved such a high ranking. It is not only a great honor but also an indication of CJ Vina Agri's leading position in the field of multi-industry business with a closed 3F value chain (Feed-animal feed manufacture; Farm-farm operation; Food-clean meat processing and distribution). This achievement also reflects the right sustainable development strategy and outstanding efforts of all employees of the company while overcoming market challenges./p>

In order to ensure both the freshness and the safety of meat, first of all, animal feeds must be manufactured with a strict quality control process so that they are not mixed with impurities, drugs boosting animals’ growth, or leanness-enhancing agents. Since 2001, the company has expanded its scale by establishing 7 animal feed manufacturing factories across Vietnam in Long An province, Vinh Long province, Dong Nai province, Binh Dinh province, Hung Yen province, Ha Nam province with a total capacity of more than 1 million tons/year. All of the factories have obtained the certifications of meeting product quality standards like HACCP, Global Gap, ISO9001, etc., providing the highest quality products for the market by using high-end equipment and specialized nutritional technology developed by leading experts.

Regarding livestock products provided by households, it is difficult to control disease factors, feed quality, breed, and environmental conditions. In contrast, CJ Vina Agri has more than 800 farms across the country equipped with modern equipment and a safe and hygienic environment. The control and management of the health of the pig herds are closely and directly conducted by the experts working in the farms. Any staff in charge of taking care of the herds must go through a thorough disinfection process before entering their work areas.

After a 180-day raising process, pigs will be transported to a qualified slaughterhouse licensed by the Government. The pork meat is processed within 1 day in a cold environment to maintain its perfect freshness, ensuring uniformity in size and weight for each packaged portion. CJ Vina Agri's staff performs strict quality inspections during each production process.

Meat Master - CJ Vina Agri's clean meat distribution brand has just opened its second store in Ho Chi Minh City to provide "clean - fresh - delicious" meat products for consumers.
