CJ Vina Agri - Who are we?

CJ Vina Agri Company is a subsidiary of CJ Group - a Korean multi-industry group - with more than 50 years of experience in manufacturing livestock, poultry, and aquaculture feeds. In 2001, CJ Vina Agri established the first animal feed factory in Long An province, Vietnam. The company's business model is based on the development of a closed 3F (Feed - Farm - Food) value chain.

The current animal feed (Feed) business line of the company has expanded to 7 factories across the country from Hung Yen province, Ha Nam province, Binh Dinh province, Dong Nai province, Vinh Long province (2 factories), and Long An province with a total capacity of more than 1 million tons/year. All of the manufacturing factories use modern machines and advanced technology to ensure the quality and meet safety standards certified by ISO9001, Global GAP, and HACCP management systems.

The second business line of the company is the farming (Farm) business with a system of more than 800 farms cooperating with farmers across the country. These farms account for up to 1 million pigs, 1 million chickens, more than 2,000 dairy cows, and create jobs for thousands of people.

In addition, to be able to directly supply high-quality meat products to Vietnamese customers, CJ Vina Agri has cooperated with a processing factory that meets food safety and hygiene standards to process meat, thereby successfully coming up with a pig raising process of "180+1 Perfect Days". At the same time, the company officially launched clean meat retail chains branded MeatMaster and Pork Shop at the end of 2020.

Developmental milestones of CJ Vina Agri

2001: CJ Vina Agri inaugurated its first factory with a capacity of 330,000 tons/year in Long An province

2006: The company started to expand to the market in the North with the inauguration of Hung Yen factory having a capacity of 130,000 tons/year

2007: Completed a factory specializing in aquaculture feed manufacture with a capacity of 90,000 tons/year in Vinh Long province

2015: Inaugurated an Animal and Aquaculture Feed Factory with a capacity of 440,000 tons/year in Dong Nai province

Dong Nai factory has the largest capacity among 7 factories of CJ Vina Agri

2017: Inaugurated a factory with a capacity of 320,000 tons/year in Ha Nam province

2018: Inaugurated Binh Dinh factory with a capacity of 72,000 tons/year and Mekong Animal and Aquaculture Feed factory with a capacity of 174,000 tons/year

Mekong factory was established in 2018 with a capacity of 174,000 tons/year

From an initial output of only 27,000 tons (in 2001), CJ Vina Agri had reached an output of 233 thousand tons by 2010, and reached an output of 1 million tons/year by 2018.

Brief on CJ Group

CJ is a multi-industry group of Korea, established in 1953 by Founder Lee Byung-chull. Used to be a branch of Samsung group, CJ was named CheilJedang and specialized in sugar production to meet Korea’s domestic sugar demand after the war.
